How long do standard and express shipping take?

For our Australia babes:

  • Standard: 2 to 6 business days (excluding WA, which may take up to 10).
  • Express: 1 – 2 business days.

For our International babes:

    • Middle East: 5 business days via DHL Express
    • Rest of world: 3 – 5 business days via DHL express

All transit times are in business days and commence from date of dispatch. We aim to dispatch all orders within one to two business days.  Estimates exclude any unforeseeable customs delays.

Can I change my shipping address?

Please email as soon as possible and include the heading ‘Urgent: change shipping address’ as well as your order number we so can try and assist you before your order is dispatched.

We aim to dispatch orders as soon as possible so please keep in mind that your address may have already been sent out.

How do I track my order?

After you’ve placed an order, you will firstly receive an email with your receipt. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a second email where you can track your Maui at all times.

Please note that when using our standard international shipping service, DHL will hand your parcel over to the national postal network in your country, and further tracking information can be sought through their site by using the same tracking number.

Duties & Taxes

If you are ordering from outside of Australia, you may have to pay import duties and taxes imposed by your local customs.  You are not always required to pay taxes, and each country has different regulations and rules. We will supply all necessary documentation for the package to pass through customs.  Any applicable duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.  We recommend checking your national customs laws to see if any taxes or duties apply.

Please note that that if you fail to pay any applicable import taxes and duties or reject the package, we will not refund your order.

Can I make changes to my order?

Once your order has been placed it is sent directly to our warehouse for quick dispatch.  We are generally not able to change or cancel it an order, although we will do everything we can to assist where possible.  Please email for assistance.

What payment options are available?

We accept payment via Credit Card (Stripe) and PayPal.

AfterPay is also available in Australia for all orders over $40 AUD.

Can I use AfterPay?

AfterPay is currently only available to our Australian customers who spend over $40 AUD.

This allows you to pay for your order fortnightly, over four equal instalments.

To be eligible for a refund, your order must be returned in it’s original and unused condition. If you wish to refund an item it must be returned within 30 days of it being delivered.  Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.  Your refund will be processed within one business day of receiving the return package.  We recommend using a tracked service for any returns as we are not responsible for lost, undelivered or stolen parcels.

Any products which have been opened or used cannot be returned or exchanged online.

This refund policy excludes items which are returned for non-payment of local duties and taxes.

What’s the difference between Golden Glow & Deep Bronze?

Our Deep Bronze oil has been designed to keep your skin nourished and hydrated whilst you tan. This oil uses cacao seed powder and grape seed extract to deliver antioxidants into the skin and protect cells against oxidation and aging. Our Golden Glow Tanning Oil is enriched with beta-carotene which may increase the production of melanin in the skin (the pigment which changes colour when exposed to UV) and golden mica particles to give you an instant, golden tint.

Does Maui contain any protection from the sun (SPF)?

Maui Now tanning oils do not contain any added sun protection factor (SPF). We recommend the use of a high grade SPF ten minutes prior to applying your Maui. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and always wear protective clothing such as a hat and sunglasses.

Can I use Maui on my face?

Yes, but as always, be sure to apply adequate SPF prior to doing so.

Are your oils vegan and cruelty free?

We are, and always will be 100% vegan and against animal testing.

Maui Now won’t irritate my skin, right?

Our tanning oils are made from premium ingredients only. In the event of a rash or irritation, please discontinue use.

Can I use your oils if I’m pregnant?

We’ve had plenty of pregnant babes tan with Maui, but be sure to use as directed. As with any new product used during pregnancy, independent medical advice is recommended.

Do your oils contain any self-tan or fake tan?

Our tanning oils are free of any self-tan or fake tan, and are designed to achieve a sun tan in conjunction with UV exposure for a natural, deep tan.

Will Maui Now stain my light coloured clothes?

Our Tanning Oils may stain lightly coloured garments so apply with caution.

Does this tan wash-off in the shower after one application?

No – our Gradual Tanning Milk has been formulated to last up to 5 days with proper application. Of course, you can exfoliate your self-tan off at any point if you wish.

Will this transfer onto clothes and sheets?

No – our formula is a white milk which will not stain your clothes or sheets.

Will it make me smell like fake tan?

We’ve added a subtle, coconut scent so you’ll be smelling like the tropics while you tan.

Can I use Gradual Tan on my face?

Yes – you can use your Gradual Tan on your face to complete your glow. For an even tan, ensure your skin is clean and dry and apply evenly in a circular motion. If you experience any irritation, discontinue use on the face and patch test as necessary.

What if I’m pregnant?

We’ve had plenty of pregnant babes tan with Maui, but be sure to use as directed. As with any new product used during pregnancy, independent medical advice is recommended.

How do I use it for best results?

Apply daily to clean, exfoliated skin in a circular motion. Wash hands immediately after use. Reapply daily for a deeper tan.

How often should I apply my Gradual Tan?

This really depends how deep you want your tan to get.

Many babes see good results after just one application, and build their glow with daily applications to achieve their desired tan.
